I much prefer a cleansing balm. I have dry sensitive skin and I find they help to lock in the moisture better. Much better than stripping facial washes. Small amount on dry hands and face. Massage in. Then wet your hands and lather up. Wash off. Easy. Skin didn’t feel tight once dry. I did follow up about 10 mins later with the weleda day cream and my face feels clean and hydrated. Not oily.
It comes in a metal tube. Would be nice if they provided a turning key for it to maximise the use from the tube.

Really great product for sensitive skin which leaves your skin feeling moisturised and clean . Removes makeup really well and also love the fact you can use it as a face mask.

It is made with natural ingredients that are gentle on the skin, but it still does a great job of removing impurities. The balm has a rich and creamy texture that feels luxurious on the skin. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight after use, and I actually feel like it leaves my skin feeling softer after use.
The texture of the balm is creamy has natural, earthy smell. Since its cruelty free brand it just feels good to use more natural based products.
A tube of 75ml cost £12+ which is high compared to to other vegan and cruelty free brands.
Overall, I’m impressed with Weleda Skin Food Nourishing Cleansing Balm. It is a great option for people with dry or sensitive skin who are looking for a gentle, yet effective cleanser

I have dry/sensitive skin and it feels as though I have tried every cleansing balm and oil cleanser on the market without success (they always leave me feeling dry and then extra extra dry after I do my second cleanse). This one is my new holy grail – it cleans SPF and make up so effectively without stripping or drying me out. The texture I actually quite like as it feels initially like a thicker gel then becomes a mix of a balm/cleansing oil texture when you rub it in your palms. I would highly recommend trying this if you’ve got a dry and sensitive skin type or have a compromised skin barrier but still want to remove your make up.

Great product I had been using Elemis cleansing balm but this is much better you do t need as much product and it’s half the price

Used this to cleanse my face. Was surprised that this was a clear gel from the tube.
Just needed a small amount rubbed in the hands and when adding warm water it just transforms into a smooth creamy cleanser.
An alternative is to put it directly on the skin and let it dry like mask to draw and cleanse the pores.
Then rinse off later with warm water.
I can’t pinpoint what the overall lovely floral perfume is of the product but it really smells great.
It is refreshing and obviously a quality product but a tad on the expensive side.

Please make this in a bigger size! This is the best balm cleanser. I have bought and tried them all. Trust me. Smells like the OG moisturiser…but cleans your skin! Superb!
