i’ve been wanting a balm cleanser for a while now and i saw that this one was great a lot of people said it leaves a residue but i didn’t notice that it also got all of my mascaras off which always takes a big push with the micela water i was using before i’ll edit this if i notice i break out or anything but so far so good

It gently removes all make up and leaves the most beautiful feeling on your skin after. Hugely recommend. I also use a toner and moisturiser from this brand. Love them all.

I have used a few Inkey products before but hadn’t used the cleanser. Having used it for a while I can say that it really works, doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry but does leave it feeling clean and doft. Would definitely recommend.

*Loses stars for poor packaging although it cleanses well.
*I’ve been using cleansing balms for about 5 years and have tried many brands. All of my previous products have been in a pot. There is a good reason for that as is evidenced in the photo attached. *Cleansing balm by its nature is a thick product that needs scooping rather than squeezing and when I can no longer squeeze any product out I cup the top off and this is how much is still in there. I’m fact there was even more than that all stuck to the sides of the tube.
*I would say there are many applications left in that tube and the first time this happened I ended up throwing it away thinking it was empty. An incredibly wasteful way of packaging things as many other users have probably done the same.
*As far as cleansing balms go it’s brilliant at it’s job removing waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I use it as part of a double cleanse so follow it up with another cleanser and there’s never any residue left from this which is great.
*The scent is strange (it’s unscented but not in a good way, almost smells off).
*So until they change the packaging I am going to return to a brand that provides product in a jar to avoid unnecessary waste.

This is a great value for money product. It is a gentle cleanser, smells great and feels gentle on the skin. The negatives would be it doesn’t leave my skin feeling as cleansed as some of my other cleansers, it also has a greasier texture which is quite thick. It removes make up well however as stated before I feel I need a second cleanse after as I’m not left feeling my face is as clean as could be.
