I like that it had a brush and comb, which made it convenient to apply. True to color.

It’s got a strong mauve tinge for the first 24 hrs. Especially in sunlight.

Done skin patch test as can’t afford to have severe reaction as have to many ppd free dyes.
No reaction after 48hrs .
So easy to apply and clear instructions.
Quick & easy depending on amount of grey coverage left on for about 40 mins .
Impressed with coverage however , dark brown on my hair is nearly back . Can see roots after about 2 wks if washing 2-3 x wk
Only choice of 3 colours wish had different shades of brown .
Would recommend to those like me with severe ppd & other allergies.

So simple and easy with no mess
Downside do he’s not last long, maybe 2 weeks before grays start showing again
Good if your in a rush !!!

I bought this product to avoid redness and itching on my scalp as normal hair dye does this for me even the sensitive ammonia free ones. I normally use olia which is around £7 but I took the risk of buying a way more expensive product for my scalp only to leave me with red and itchy scalp and did not cover my greys at all. I’m deeply disappointed and very upset with this. I now have to buy another hair dye the normally works and will have worsening redness and itchy scalp. I don’t normally write a bad review.. but this wasted so much of my time and damaged my scalp really bad and also my forehead. I didn’t wanna give even one star for this but I have no choice.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for this product, in case it helps other allergy sufferers like me. I have naturally black hair, which is sadly greying now. A few years ago I developed an allergy to conventional dyes. I spent about a year messing around with Henna and Indigo, but I found that it took all day, and the results were very mixed. For me, indigo didn’t really stick well, and I hated the fact that I had to leave it on for around 4 hours. (It also gave me headaches.)
This product is so much quicker. The only downside is that I find that it works best if you use Henna first, so I still end up with a two-step process, but it’s a far quicker one, and it actually works.
I tend to apply henna. Then I use a heat cap for 30 mins, which is sufficient to turn my roots orange. (Without the heat cap, it used to take a few hours for the henna to work.) Once my hair is dry, I can then apply this. You apply the first layer like a convention hair dye. After 10 mins, you can apply the second layer on top. Again, you have to leave it for 10 mins before washing off. I tend to find that by the time I’ve finished applying the first layer, it’s more than 10 minutes since I started, so I go straight into applying the second layer. In total, including processing time, it takes 30-40 mins (depends how quick you are at applying). This is so much quicker than the 4+ hours that I used to spend applying indigo, only to find that it didn’t even work!

It did not produce the expected result. Not all Grey’s were covered, less than 50% coverage. It takes 20min to apply and had to do it every 2 days. For me not worth the money and hassle.

This is the only dye I can use as I am so allergic to permanent hair dye. Just don’t leave it in too long or it burns your hair and it will break off – the instructions say 10 mins or longer. It’s a slightly more complicated two-step application, and I take 6-10 mins to apply each application, then leave in for max 15 minutes more, and that seems to keep my hair happy. Any longer and it breaks off. The darkest is not quite black, but that’s exactly what I need anyway. Highly recommend, I’ve never had any issues with allergic reaction to this, but make sure to do a patch test before using it, just in case…
