They’re ok but don’t really get hot enough to hold any curl. The wave is very clunky and awkward to hold. The heatproof glove is a bonus.

Loved them to start with but unfortunately a month after getting them and half way through doing my hair they started to smoke, smelt like burning and making a noise. So glad it happened whilst I was holding them and I didn’t leave them unattended else there could have been a fire!!

I used this on my friend who has very coarse wiry hair and finds it hard to tame her frizzy mop and the results were amazing.
The hand part of the heating wand is the main part and each attachment clips on easy. Each attachment has a black end which does not heat up so you can hold or steady it whilst you wait for the heat to do its thing. The wave wand worked on small amounts of hair only but it worked quickly with ease. The three other single wands all have a different diameters and work really well.
Most hair curling devices don’t really do much to my friends hair and lasts only a few hours at most but after using this set, the end result stayed put for three days until she washed it!
Looks like I’ll be taming her hair regularly for now on

This set is currently priced under £40 at the time of writing, which is very reasonable. The think I like the most is that is can all be stored together rather than having numerous bulking hair tools!
