I had my waters popped and this absorbed it all! Afterwards, it soaked up most of the blood till it eased down. Definately worth it for labour and postpartum. 22 quid for 2 packs of 11 in each. Wish it was cheaper

I thought they had sticky backing but they don’t. I found them far to bulky & uncomfortable to wear. I wouldn’t recommend them at all.

I actually bought this in December 2022 because my period flow was insanely heavy; I went to the emergency room because I was legitimately scared (I was 22 and this was not at all normal for me) and was changing my usual pads about every 5 minutes.
I ordered this the same day and got it 2 days later (thankfully my flow had calmed down slightly by then, but it was still MUCH worse than usual). I haven’t had to use them since, but I would recommend them to someone who regularly goes through what I did. If you DO get them for a heavy flow, bear in mind that they are huge and probably not designed for walking around during the day. They will feel awkward and I would recommend wearing a long shirt or tying a hoodie around your waist, just in case the pad becomes visible. Although you would probably be doing that anyway if you were bleeding as much as I was.
Anyway, if you’re considering buying them for incontinence-related purposes, I recommend them as well since periods are an ongoing thing that cannot be ‘held in’ whereas urine is typically produced less frequently.
