Lovely colour, stays on well.

A Pepto-Bismol pink in a cream finish. Had I seen it in person first I would have chosen something else. I used one layer on top of Chanel’s smoothing base and the finish was patchy. When I wore shoes a couple of days later the varnish showed marks of wear afterwards. You can get much cheaper nail varnishes with a better finish and wear than this.

I loved the colour of this polish, it does not smell horrible like other polishes. It is nice and creamy and it stays 1 week without chipping which is great.

In my view, this colour (20 – Lovie Dovie) is absolutely Barbie pink for those that are looking for it! I love Essie nail polish anyway, it does last and is easy to apply. The lighter pink colours (as in French manicures) do need three coats to obtain zero streaks but this deeper colour has performed well with just two coats. Good flat spreading brush. Looks great with a tan, a very medium sugary pink with some depth, not shocking, neon or wishy washy. This is the definition of pink (Barbie pink!). Love it.
