This specific shade- soft silver 8S is the best for me. It cooled down yellow tones in my bleached hair and didn’t turn out grey the same time. After about 3-4 washes the silver tone turned into super more natural 8 level blonde with no yellow or orange notes peeking through. I love this dye and it’s very difficult to find it in stores so thank you amazon. I’m super happy. The photo shows my bleached yellow hair before the dye and my hair cooled down after applying the 8S soft silver. I’m in love with it.

My favourite home colouring. Yes it doesn’t last as long as salon colour but a fraction of the price. As a true red head, this colour pretty much matches my natural colour and most people don’t even realise I’m going grey!

I followed instructions exactly, dyed over ginger hair and got a strange chocolate brown/red. I knew going into it that it wouldn’t be exactly the same as the box as I was dying over a red base but even the brown tone is off from what the box displays. I like the resulting colour but it is not what I expected or dyed my hair with the intention of getting. I’ve added photos of before and after as well as the colour it was supposed to be.
Pros- Easy to understand instructions, Easy to mix and apply the colour, Very short processing time (25 mins)
Cons- Stains skin a very dark brown – my gloves tore and I have almost black/brown streaks that I cannot get off of my skin, Tingles in a stinging way – I am not allergic or sensitive to any hair dye or bleach and have never had this reaction before in anything I’ve tried. Washes out brown dye for way longer than any other neutral hair colour I’ve had.
Overall, I would recommend this and will be using it again in the future to maintain the colour I have ended up with – only with the root touch up version instead.

I have used this exact shade for many years.
It’s been exceptionally difficult to find recently so I was super excited to find it on here.
However disappointingly it’s not the right shade at all. Seems like a watered down version

I have used this hair colour a few times now. My hair is naturally Auburn and trying to re-create that, now I am going grey, has proved problematic to say the least. This is the closest colour that I can get although it is still a little pale. I must admit I was a bit put off using it for a while before I actually bought some as I have used Nice n Easy years ago and found the smell to be awful. In desperation I gave in and bought this and was pleased to say that the smell is so much better now thank you hardly notice it at all.
It works pretty much like most box dyes work and it’s not too difficult to apply although I mix it in a hair dye bowl and use a brush to apply it because that works better for me. I like that after rinsing it you can use shampoo, as a lot of hair dyes say that you can’t use this, and it does make your hair feel cleaner which I like.
The overall colour is good but I just wish it didn’t fade quite so quickly. My hair has been damaged in the past but I didn’t find this made it any worse and the conditioner that is included really helps my hair to feel softer. As mentioned, this is slightly lighter than I really would like so I did try one shade darker which was a big mistake and so I will definitely go back to this colour. I think the price is fair and it is obviously a whole lot cheaper than having your hair done in the salon!
