I bought this 3 weeks ago, I have used it fairly consistently since though have missed a few days. I had really bad dry skin under my beard, a lot of redness. Having applied this balm over the weeks I’ve seen my skin problem improve dramatically, almost completely at this point – if not a bit slowly.
I don’t have a sense of smell so can’t speak to what it smells like – no one has commented on it so I assume it isn’t strong. There is a light hold. After a few minutes of rubbing it in my beard is soft.
It did what I bought it for, so I’m happy with the product. I’ll likely get another tub once this one runs out.

I’ve tried oils and a few other products but didn’t like the ‘greasy’ feeling on my face and beard during the day. Also, I have a pet hate about how perfumed a lot of these products can be – I find myself sneezing a lot with the stronger ones.
However this balm has been a good fit for me. I chuck a dollop on after I’ve had a shower in the morning and I find it keeps my beard and face feeling moisturised through the day.
I’ve noticed I don’t really have any problems with dry or itchy skin around my beard anymore. With oils I would be doing a lot of work with conditioners and brushing to feel comfortable.
There’s a slight scent to it but nothing too potent or strong.

I keep going back to the bulldog beard balm as i find it to be the softest and only none greasy balm on the market. I also think it is massively affordable compared to others. Will continue to keep buying as it keeps my beard soft and looking fresh all day

I was given a tin of this beard balm by my brother in law and when it run out I purchased this. It’s a great balm and it work a lot better than other more expensive products on the market. It is very easy to apply and it has a lovely fragrance too.
It would have been better to have the balm in a tin as previously to avoid plastic.

Really pleasant smell, without competing against aftershave etc. It had a light hold which is enough to keep you smart and well groomed.
