Every day we become more and more aware of the importance of protecting ourselves from the sun, even if it’s not the middle of summer. If you have very clear and/or sensitive skin, 50+ is your number!
This lotion is of high quality. It is a mineral lotion so we are also free from chemicals on our skin, which can often cause allergic reactions. The consistency is good, it spreads very easily, allowing it to reach the entire surface of the skin. This also helps it to absorb well without leaving a sticky feeling. I guess it also makes for a mild scent.
It is water resistant but you should always leave it on for a while. And remember to reapply it once dry if you’ve been in the water for a long time.
The small size of the bottle makes it convenient to carry around without getting in the way. Although for 20ml we can’t carry it in our hand luggage on the plane which is a pity.

This sunscreen sound promising. It comes in 120ml tube, easy to use. The opening is sealed with silver protection. The sunscreen is like cream, thicker slightly than my other sun cream but it’s easy to apply and spread on the skin. Wife applied it on her hand and massaged it into the skin. The cream is white in colour and fragrance free (actually smells like E45 cream). It’s slightly sticky at first but when gets absorbed into the skin, it’s okay. This sunscreen is marked at 50+SPF but I couldn’t find the star rating (out of 5 stars) so I don’t exactly know how effective this cream is against sun UV rays.
It’s still early spring so we didnt experience any hot or veey sunny weather yet to properly check how good this cream is but so far we can say that it absorbed nicely into the skin and the skin feels hydrated and soft. It’s not greasy or shiny as typical suncream we have tried. It doesn’t leave white coating on skin which is good. We quite like this product but only during the summer we can say how effective it is. For now, 4 stars.

This is a light feeling SPF 50+ body lotion. It has little to no fragrance so great if you prefer something subtle. I do think most sun creams have a much more stronger scent. The lotion goes on easily and it soaks into my skin well. I like that it isn’t too greasy and doesn’t appear to leave any residue either. I think it will be a good option for summer in UK. It has a high SPF which is brilliant and it doesn’t leave too much of a heavy feel on my skin so I’ll be able to go about my day without it annoying me.
Overall this is a great option for use in the warmer weather in the UK or for use on holidays. It soaks in well and is non greasy or as much as sun lotions can be. I’m happy with the quality although until the warmer weather arrives I’m not too sure on how effective the SPF rating is.

Excellent value, good for sensitive skin

A nice mineral body lotion with SPF 50 from Bondi Sands. This milky lotion spreads beautifully and absorbs quickly into my skin without leaving any white cast.
It not only protects the skin from harmful rays but moisturises and hydrates the skin at the same time. It doesn’t cause irritation on my eyes too, like some of the other sunscreens, which is great.
Excellent product for the current price of £9.99.
That said, I’m not a fan of the scent. It smells like my son’s steroid cream for eczema, not too strong but you can smell it.
As with using sunscreen, it’s always recommended to double cleanse with an oil-based cleanser to make sure the skin is thoroughly clean.
Overall, a good value mineral body lotion with SPF 50 that works well for me.

A high protection sunscreen that feels pleasant to use.
The cream is quite thick in texture but blends in easily. It does feel a little tacky for a good few minutes after application but once dry it leaves skin feeling smooth and there’s no white cast, like you get with some.
It recommends reapplication every two hours and does appear to repel water.
Suitable for sensitive skin. It does have a slight odour but isn’t fragranced.
So far, so good and overall, I’d recommend!

This is a great sunscreen – zinc, unfragranced and no alcohol denat! I have tried a lot of zinc based sun creams and for the most part they were always too thick or had a white cast. This one sinks into the skin easily and gives a nice finish without a white cast. It’s a shame they don’t have a bigger bottle. Highly recommend

It’s not a bad product but I wouldn’t personally buy again, I just feel there’s better available at a lower price. The consistency seems ok however it has grity bits in which I don’t like at all. It doesn’t smell of really anything either. It’s works well as it’s spf 50 and it’s ok for children and anyone with sensitive skin. But just doesn’t really have any selling point about it that makes it special compared to others. It does rub in well and it is cruelty free and vegan but a lot are. Water resistant too but just nothing to hype on really.
