This is the best suntan cream I know. I first used it on a 16 km hike in Greece during July. It was incredibly hot, so I was sweating, but despite my fair complexion, I did not burn at all, and needed only one application of the cream all day.
I also find that many suntan creams sting my eyes. But this Blue Lizard one has never done so.
As it’s a mineral suntan cream, it initially gives your skin a slight white covering, but I find this disappears after about a minute, so it’s not a problem.

This cream is great for coverage and really works well It lost a star from me because its is quite thick white and heavy and sits on top of the skin so needs to be used sparingly. Also if you forget to wash it off later it can clog pores and cause spots, so give it a good scrub off when done.

It makes my face really white like a geisha. I have to rub it and rub it and try very hard to rub it evenly across my face into my skin and it is still white like face paint.

Me and my family (2 kids under 5) were looking for a great sort of natural more mineral sun cream and seen this, we tested this out for the first time going to Dubai to the 40 degree heat and could not fault it, we purchased 2 bottles and it went further than we thought. The product was on the thicker side and you could tell the protection was there, not 1 of us got burnt while in the sun most of the day, would highly recommend.
